HoMe SwEeT HoMe

So we made it home in one piece from our fabulous vacation.  We had a ton of fun but are sure happy to be home.  I am going to be blogging day by day of our adventure so that we can remember it better.  This is just us chillin in front of ReD LoBsTeR's our first night in Miami waiting for the taxi to come get us & take us back to our hotel.

We were glad to be in Miami and done with the long plane rides for awhile.  We had a 40 minute layover in Dallas and had to go clear across the airport to to catch our connecting flight.  We only stopped to go to the bathroom really quick & made final boarding call.  Dallas Fort Worth airport is huge!!!  Unfortunately our luggage was not as lucky to arrive with us in Miami.  I was not a very happy person obviously since we were getting on our cruise ship the next day.  Kip wouldn't let me talk to the baggage claim people cause I am not very nice.  Luckily our luggage got to us at midnight that night.

Homebody

So I have been up since 5AM unable to sleep because I get serious anxiety at the thought of leaving home.  I know I know I am weird!! I just love being surrounded by what I know and don't really like to stray from that comfort zone of mine. So here I am unable to sleep, and here's the part you will all think I am the craziest for, I am so sad that I will not see my puppy for 10 days!!!! I realize that I am a crazy dog lady but I am ok with that.  With Kip and I working opposite shifts he just is my little buddy and during Kip's work week I probably hang out with Jax more than my husband, weird I know.  I know Shantel will take such good care of him and he will probably not want to come home after being with them for the week, he loves to play with Tucker & Trixie!!  So here are my morning ramblings hope I didn't bore you all.  We are off to the Caribbean tomorrow morning where hopefully the weather is a lot better than it has been here! 

We're Leaving on a jet plane....

We are super excited to be leaving on our sunny vacation in 2 weeks and are counting down the days.  We have been busy getting everything we need together and of course doing lots of shopping!!  Here comes the sunshine and of course the beautiful ocean.  Sometimes I think I was a mermaid in another life, I love love love the water!!

Pineview Resevoir

A couple nights ago we went for a drive up to Pineview Resevoir. It was so pretty and Jax loved it. There was so much to smell!!!

These are Jax's bestest friends. He loves when he gets to go play with Tucker and Trixie. Trixie is actually his mom. After I took all 3 of them for a ride in the truck, I think he finally realized it is a fun thing and now actually enjoys getting in the truck rather than thinking he is being punished.  He even jumped in the back of the truck the other day!!!  Usually Kip has to pick him up and put him in there since I can no longer pick him up.  My puppy is growing up!

How can one little photo program be so much fun?? The same night as the dinner we were playing with photo booth. It is absolutely hilarious.  I thought this picture was very flattering!

What we've been up to lately

A couple weekends ago my sis-in-law Jodi put on a mini dinner for our family. Baby potatoes, baby carrots, baby bread loaves, tiny silverware, plates, and cups, the whole nine yards. It was really fun and we had a great time. Thanks Jo!!
