Hope everyone had a great Christmas!! It was great to spend time with family and enjoy the holiday spirit.  Here are a few of the cute pictures of Christmas eve and Christmas day.

Cookies...

Shantel & I made all sorts of Christmas goodies Sunday and continued it again on Monday night.  The boys watched football and argued like brothers while we baked, and the doggies of course got to play together since they are like our children.  This time of year you really start thinking of all the things you are blessed with in life and good friends are definitely on the top of my list.  We love hanging out with these guys & probably would sit at home & be losers (oh wait we are still losers!) without them!!  Thanks guys for all the fun times we have had together, I am sure there are many more to come!

I am finally done with school!!!  I graduated last Friday with my RN.  I truly would not of made it without the support from my family & friends.  Christie & I did both years of nursing school together & I am so grateful for the friendship we have been able to form.  I would of never made it with out her & just want her to know how much I appreciate her.  I have made such great friends along the way & am so excited for to see where life leads from here!!

Why do I even bother buying him toys when he would much rather chew on our socks!!! Yes I am the crazy dog lady who lives for her puppy, but I have come to terms with it...lol

Christmas Tree

This one is for the ladies at work who want to see me and my neurotic-ness (if that's a word) with christmas. I love love love decorating my Christmas tree and would have it up the first of November if Kip would let me but have to settle for the night before Thanksgiving. Luckily this year I am able to have 2 trees and one big village and one mini village!!

Halli

These are some pictures I took of Halli a couple weeks ago for her 1 month pics.  I thought I would let Jodi give out the birth announcements before I posted them.  I thought they turned out pretty cute especially since she was not the happiest little camper about pictures that day. Is she not just beautiful!!!  And of course I had to throw in a picture of my Madi girl!!!

Thanksgiving

Every year we make pies for Thanksgiving the Wednesday before.  This year I spent more time playing in the toy room with Madi then I did making pies but hey someone has to entertain the children.  Thanksgiving was fun we went to both of my sides of the family and stuffed ourselves with two dinners this year.  We did manage to sneak away and go to a movie which is a tradition in Kip's family.  It was great to hang out with family.  Hope everyone had a safe and fun Thanksgiving!!

I am hoping by putting snow on my background the weather will get it together and Let it Snow!!  So we had yet another fabulous wind storm today...I truly have come to hate the wind and hope it does not blow all night and keep me awake!

Cody"s B-Day Party

Last night I had my family over for dinner to celebrate Cody's birthday, it was a little late but it's getting harder to get everyone together.  We had a good time and got lots of cute pictures of the nieces.  Madi loves dogs and was so excited to see my puppy but turns out she may be allergic to them.  Poor Girl.

NaScAr RaCe 2008

We went down to Phoenix this last weekend for the nascar race with our good friends Justin and Shantel.  We had so much fun and were able to get a lot of autographs this year, unfortunately not GoRdOn'S.  It was pretty chilly the day of the race and there was a rain delay but luckily we were high enough that we did not get rained on. We had pretty good seats and had a good view of all the wrecks (my favorite part). Since GoRdOn is changing his paint scheme next year all his stuff was way cheap and we pretty much cleaned them out.  We were sad that GoRdOn blew his engine but none the less we had fun.  Shantel has great family down there who are so hospitable and make us feel like part of the family when we are down there, we really appreciate them.

My cute niece

This is my cute niece JoRdYn.  I have always been interested in photography and finally am almost at the point where I can really start practicing.  I found this trunk at an antique show this weekend and just had to use it in a photo so I went and found me a model and what a great model she was.  I think they turned out pretty cute!!

Can you touch your nose with your tongue?

Jax sure can. He can touch your nose with his tongue too, which he does way too often.  I thought this picture was pretty dang cute of my cute lil puppy who is not so little anymore!!

Happy Halloween to everyone!!!  Halloween is not the biggest deal around our house being that we have no children.  It does mean that we are that much closer to putting up CHRISTMAS decorations up!!  Yay!! My favorite.  Not a whole lot going on around our house, just work and school.  Kip is working a lot this week so that we can take off next week, so that leaves me to do school stuff which is not happening.  I just have lost my motivation, I am so ready to be done!  Only 1 1/2 months until graduation!

Update

There has not been a whole lot going on this week.  Kip is working A LOT and I have been working and trying to stay on top of school.  I am so ready to be done that I just have NO motivation left in me.  Our little doggie is growing so fast, he really keeps us on our toes.  He is so FUN!!!  We are both looking forward to a little vacation in a few weeks.  It has definitely been a LONG and DIFFICULT year and we both are SO ready for a vacation!!

First snow fall

Oh I was so excited for the 1st snowfall and it has finally arrived.  I love that we live practically on the mountain so that we get even more snow than the rest of the valley.  It was so fun to see Jax in the snow for the first time.  At first he was not so sure of it but then he loved it.  I have to say this is a very nice change from the horrible canyon winds that blew our dog kennel away early sat morning.  Bring on the snow, I am snow ready.

Winter Wonderland..

We went camping this last weekend down to the Richfield area with Kip's parents. It was our little doggies first camping trip and he loved it. It rained most of the time we were down there but it did not stop us from doing lots of 4-wheeling. We went high enough up in the mountains to see snow. I LOVE SNOW!!! I was so excited. We rode some of the Paiute trail that is over 300 miles total. We were able to see a couple of old mines. It was so beautiful, the leaves were so bright they didn't even look real.

Computers...aaah

So we have been out of technology for awhile. Our piece of crap computer died about a month ago. That's 2 yes I say 2 motherboards in 2 years!! So needless to say we were not about to spend another penny on that dang thing. So we bought a new computer last night. We ventured to the other side and bought a mac! We will see what we like best. So Kip has been working and worked his first 60 hour work week this week since returning to work and handled it like a champ. I had to go up to Evanston this week to the psyche hospital for school which was a pretty cool experience. I only have 3 shifts left of my preceptor and then maybe life will calm down for a little bit before the holidays.

Getting the swing of things...

So today is Kip's second week of being back to work and so far so good. He still gets sore but he is doing really well. As for me and graveyards they are really kicking my butt!!I am learning a lot and having a great time. The rest of school is really stressful and I just can't seem to get in to the swing of things this semester possibly being that its my last, its like senior year of high school when you are just ready to be done. As for our little Jax he is growing fast and being quite a little stinker right now but we love him. Thats life for now.

Back to Work

So today i start my preceptor for nursing. I am doing graveyards on the intermediate care floor at Mckay Dee Hospital. I am not a graveyard person and so am quite nervous as to how I am going to handle these shifts, oh well its only a month. As for Kip, he is going back to work tomorrow. I don't know who is more nervous me or him. It has been almost 8 months since he has worked and is nervous to see if he can do his job again. They have been really good to work with him and are giving him a guy to help him adjust for a few weeks. So we will keep you updated on how we both adjust to our new chapter in life.

Meet the newest member of the Heath family, Jax. He is so much fun and we are totally loving him. He is our baby. He may even replace children for us since I still get to sleep through the night with him...jk

Stitches...

So I finally got my first stitches, alright I know big deal Kip had over 100 stitches and over 100 staples but it's a first for me. I have had this red bump/crater on my leg for the last 4-5 months and I finally got in to the dermatologist to figure out what it is. I still don't know but they took a piece of my leg to do a biopsy on and that's when I got my FIRST 2 stitches. So I will have more answers about the mysterious red thing growing on my leg next week so stay tuned...

July 24th BBQ

We had a bbq for the 24th with a bunch of friends. It turned out great and we had lots of fun. I was able to get some cute pics of all the kids ( I have to take cute pics of everyone else's kids since I don't have any of my own yet). Thanks everyone for coming and celebrating with us!!

surgery

So Kip had another surgery yesterday and he did great!! He did so good they let him come home earlier then we were expecting. They had to go in and scrape out some bone that had regrown and was inhibiting him from getting his full range of motion in his hip. We love his doctor and could not ask for a better one, thanks Dr. Kubiak for helping us through this long rough road we have had to travel. He was not as entertaining as he was the last time he was in the hospital, but then again last time he was on a lot better drugs!
