BOWLING

We went out to dinner & bowling with some friends for the 1st time in forever. It was so much fun! You know you are getting older when you have trouble walking from bowling the next day...so sad! Look at those sweet moves from my awesome hubby who ended up winning the game. Yep, those are the people we hang out with...they're SPECIAL, and we are special that we get to hang out with them.  

kangaroo zoo

We took jordyn & charly to kangaroo zoo & had so much fun!!  I think I got more of a workout than anything else. Jordyn is a little dare devil & was not scared to go on any of the slides.  Charly who is a bit more timid than Jordyn warmed up to the place & ended up having a great time also.  We then hit up McDonald's on our way home & came home & had some dinner.  We had a fun little sleepover that night with them & much to our surprise they both slept great, I guess we wore them out with all the playing we did.  We sure do LOVE these girls!!

1st retarded moment of 2010

I just had to share my 1st retarded moment of 2010 as I am sure there will be many more to come. The other day my mother in law called asking if there was any way we could babysit as my nieces were sick & could not go to daycare. We gladly told her yes & I decided that I would just throw something together for dinner to take out with us so that my mother in law would not have to cook when she got home. I quickly threw together a pan of lasagna & sent Kip to the store for some garlic bread. When I was cooking it later that night I was getting so frustrated that the cheese was not melting, I just assumed that I had frozen the cheese one to many times & told them all to deal with it & eat. Shortly into eating Kip & my father in law discovered that in fact I had not put cheese on the lasagna but had instead used shredded hashbrowns ( I tried to play it off as casserole) they were all so sweet & ate the stuff, which I thought was horrible. Yeah, if thats how 2010 is going to get started who knows what the rest of the year will bring.

These silly girls were obsessed with my boots on Christmas day & eve, it was hilarious to watch them try to walk in them, Jordyn was especially funny since the boots I had on that night had heels on them. I love having nieces, they are so much fun!!!

New Year

I was totally lame & did not take a single picture on New Years, I guess I was just having to much fun visiting. We spent the evening with our good friends Justin & Shantel, & Casey & Julie, we hung out, ate & played some games. We had lots of fun & Casey managed to be late to the party like usual except that the party was at his house this time...some things never change.

Christmas

We had a wonderful Christmas spent with family. I just realized that we did not get any pictures of the 2 of us together that day so here are some pictures of the people we spent our day with. My brother Steve & his wife Jodi, he finds it challenging to be normal in a picture so this is what we get. Madi was so fun to open presents with, she could just not get enough.

We had Cody & Lisa this year for Christmas & sent them on a little scavenger hunt to find their present. We got them a coffee table for their house so it was to big to wrap so we just hid it in the car. See how excited they are to play the game. Cody must of been really excited because one of the clues I stuck to the basketball hoop in the backyard through a couple of inches of snow & he hopped out there barefoot to get it. Crazy kid!! We were excited that they liked it.

We got my mom a camera for christmas so here she is pretending to take her 1st picture with it. Madi had to help grandpa open his present since it was the last present to be opened.


Yep I continue to be the crazy dog lady & made sure Santa came to see Jax. Here he is checking out his stocking that was stuffed full. He was funny somehow he knew it was for him & was very excited for all the new toys, treats, & new collar.
We were lucky enough this year to have Kip's grandparents from Oklahoma come out to spend christmas with us this year. We cherish every minute we get to spend with them & can't wait to see them again. Here's the boys with the grandkids.

Kip & I were really good this year & actually surprised each other on our gifts. I should of taken a picture of Kip with his new bumpers for the Rzr, he was very excited even though I accidently threw the instructions away for the front bumper...oops. Hope everyone had a great Christmas.

Christmas partying

After all the hard work we did on the house we had a couple parties. The first with my family to celebrate my brother Steve's birthday, my birthday & Nicole's graduation from college. I was to busy cooking & visiting to get any pictures, but it was a ton of fun & I got totally spoiled for my birthday. My family gave me a couple pair of boots & some fun hats that I wanted. Kip bought me a new lens for my camera & a sweet camera bag.

The next night we had a Christmas party with our close friends. It was so much fun & we were so happy Andy & Cami & their girls made the drive up to join us. Here's some of the crew, mostly I just got pictures of the kids when I was trying to entertain them, being as I don't have a very kid friendly home. Thanks everyone for a great night.
