I have been a total slacker in the blogging department.  I have finally caught it up to date, so warning there are quite a few new posts!!

Camping the sequel

We went camping up to Malad again last weekend.  It was much better weather this weekend and we had lots of fun.  Justin & Shantel came up and spent Sat night and Sunday with us.  We were able to get a lot further up the mountains and do a lot more 4-wheeling without being cold and wet, actually even got a tan.  This is Jax on our ride up there.  It makes Kip & I laugh when he looks into the wind like this cause it makes him look like an old dog.  To cute!

Lexi's 1st B-day

It was my cute niece Lexi's 1st Birthday on the 14th and I just wanted to wish her a happy birthday.  She is such a gorgeous little girl.  She had a luau for her birthday party which was oh so fun.

1st camping trip in the trailer

We took the trailer out a couple weekends ago and went up to Malad.  It was rainy, cold, muddy and even hailed at one point but it was still way fun!!   

This one is for you Justin, I know you have been waiting for it for along time.  This does not even begin to display the amount of mud Justin & I were covered in after going up this hill, but it was oh so fun.

Camping was very exhausting for our dear doggy.  When we got home he got out of the truck, got a drink of water, walked up to the fence laid down and slept for the next 24 hours.  It was so funny.  We took Kip's parents dog Abby to keep Jax entertained but he is so spoiled rotten that he was just jealous that he had to share the spotlight.

And the trailer all nice and mud-free once again!  I worked on getting the mud off the 4-wheelers for over an hour and they were still dirty.  I finally just gave up.

DaY 7: GeTtInG oFf ThE sHiP

Sunday we were docked by 8 and off the ship by 10:30.  We grabbed a taxi to the airport where we picked up our rental car and hit the road to explore Florida!  We cruised down to Key Largo and had lunch at the Fish House which was very yummy.

We checked into our hotel where we found that it was cheaper to pay for valet parking rather than park the car ourselves...wierd.  We went and saw the new Fast & the Furious that night and then hit Bubba Gump's for dinner.  Unfortunately it was about 10:00 before we got there for dinner and we were exhausted so I did not take any pictures, but it was so so yummy and Kip said he has never seen me eat so much food.  What can I say I love seafood.  The next day we went to the beach and got lunch then headed off to the airport to catch our flight home.  I was so ready to be home and to see my puppy.  We landed in SLC at 11:30 pm and were home by 1:00 am minus 1 ipod that someone forgot (NOT ME!).  So lucky us we got to go back to the airport the next day to pick it up.  It was such a fun vacation and I can't wait to go on another one!!!

DaY 6: DaY aT sEa

Our last day at sea was filled with relaxing and packing.  They had the Carnival Legends show which was a show put on with guests where they sang karaoke dressed up as the singer they were singing.  It was so fun and probably my favorite show of the week.  I tried to lay out while Kip hit the casino but it was so so hot that I decided to just join him in the casino instead.  We had wonderful lobster bisque as part of dinner which is probably something I would not of tried before and of course the melting chocolate cake that was so wonderful it was deemed "picture worthy."  
Of course we had to snap a photo of the sushi bar where we spent some time everyday enjoying some fresh sushi!!!

Day 5: GrAnD cAyMaN

We loved loved loved Grand Cayman!!!  It was our favorite island by far.  The island is so little it doesn't have any piers so the boats anchor out in the ocean and they have what they call tenders to take you to shore.  The beaches were so beautiful & the water was so blue.  I cannot wait to go back to the cayman islands.  We took a taxi, which was actually a bus that they shoved as many people as possible on, to the beach & rented us some beach chairs & relaxed on the beach & swam in the ocean.  We had lunch at Gecko Bar & Grill on the beach and then headed over to Margaritaville!!! We spent some time there, had some drinks, & then headed back to the ship.
