We went to Joe's Valley for a week of camping this year. We used to go there every year when I was a child for family reunions so I was really excited to go back.  It was so pretty & we were able to find the perfect campsite...right by the river, hidden by trees & a good open area around the firepit & we backed the trailer in & it was level. Doesn't get much better than that.We did a ton of 4-wheeling while we were down there.  Check out that cool snowdrift!!!

We went through quite the load of firewood being down there for a week, quite the haul the RZR can hold!!

My dad was able to come for the whole week & we were lucky enough to get Nicole & Ray and my grandparents to come down & camp with us for a few days!  It was so much fun!!

We were 4-wheeling one day & saw this awesome rainbow in the clouds, I have never seen that before!!  It was SO cool!!

We went down to the marina & had lunch on the lake one day, you just can't beat that view!!  The food was pretty good also!!

Jax actually jumped in the RZR with very little coaxing, I was so proud of my little puppy.  How cute is that!!  We were going to go fishing & it was a little bit of a drive so he rode with Kip & I rode with my dad.  He was so cute unless he could see me ahead of him on the 4-wheeler he would put his head on Kip's chest while they drove.  He is such a little wimp for such a big dog, it cracks me up.

This is the benefits I got for letting Jax ride in the RZR, a mud bath!!  There was one area that was really muddy & my dad & I got into a slippery situation & we ended up tipping over in the mud!!  Notice who got the most mud on them!!  It was so COLD!!  Needless to say we went back to the trailer & bagged the fishing idea!

We had so much fun & hope to be able to make it a yearly tradition to go down there!!  thanks to all who came & shared in the fun with us!!

Madi's 4!!!

My cute niece Madison turned 4!!  I can't believe how fast time flies, she is growing up so fast. She is so much fun & we are so lucky to have her in our family.  Her personality has really grown this year & its so fun to watch.  We LOVE you Madi!!

Memorial Day

We went up to Lava for memorial day with my family.  It had rained a lot the week before we went up there & unfortunately our big heavy trailer slid in the mud & got stuck.  It was such a slippery mud that when I got out of the truck to check things out I literally started sliding down the mountain myself!!  Jax was a bit of a pest this weekend due to the competition of my attention with my cute nieces.  It was a rough weekend emotionally for me, Jax is my 1st child & I tend to get a little emotional when it comes to him...I know crazy dog lady me!!  Our chain saw also died while we were up there which was not a good thing since it was cold & we went through quite a bit of firewood, so Kip, Jax & I took a little road trip to Pocatello to buy a new one! I was lame & these are the only pictures I got while I was there, but we had fun nonetheless.

Life's a Changing

Yep!!  We are PREGNANT!!  We could not be happier for this little bundle of joy to soon join our family.  I am currently at 10 weeks which puts our due date in December.  I am convinced it is a boy & don't see that there are any other options, but Kip said today he thinks it is a girl.  Our niece Madi is convinced it is a girl & cannot even comprehend why we would want to have a boy, she is so funny.  Our niece Lexi since finding out there was a baby in my belly now has decided she also has a baby "Gus" in her belly.  Such cute girls. Jax just can't wait to have a kid all of his own...or so I say for him!

Malad

Kip had his annual boy's trip up to Malad the beginning of May.  Jax & I joined him on Sat. along with my dad, mom, Nicole & Ray.  It was freezing for the most part & we went through a ton of firewood! That is also why I look like the marshmallow man in the picture below, I believe under Kip's coat I had on another coat, a sweatshirt, long-sleeve shirt & a short-sleeve shirt.  I fell asleep around the campfire Saturday night & woke to everyone running around cause it was snowing!!  The boys liked playing in the snow with the 4-wheelers & Kip & Ray managed to get themselves stuck.  My dad was just off playing on his new 4-wheeler none the wiser that the other boys were struggling to get out of the snow while us girls sat & laughed at them.  We went on some pretty rocky trails & had lots of fun getting through some sticky situations.  We had so much fun & can't wait to do it again.  Thanks guys for a great weekend!

KiP's B-DaY

For Kip's birthday I tried to make him a wonderful dinner at home since we both had to work that night.  I made crab legs, shrimp, potatoes & corn on the cob.  It all was really good except for the shrimp it had a really rough texture.      I hope you had a good birthday babe, I LOVE YOU!!

JoRdYn'S 2nd B-DaY

Our sweet little Jo turned 2!!  Oh I can't even describe how much I love this little girl!!  Jordyn & I share a bond that is so dear to my heart, she makes me feel like the most special person on the planet.  She has such a strong personality & I know that she will do great things in life!  She had a fun birthday party with lots of friends, balloons, a pinata & a bounce house!! We are so lucky to have her in our life & are thankful for every minute we get to spend with her.  We LOVE YOU Jordy!!
